What a wonderful day. Austin gave everyone smiles today with dressing up in his tuxedo. He had everyone talking about him. We first started off at Patel's office. Unfortunately we missed Dr. Patel but we left him a picture of Austin. His counts are coming up. Still low white count but they are slowly coming up. Then we headed over to the clinic, no not to get blood products but this time to surprise his favorite nurse Delores. She was working the 4th floor so they had to call her and tell her she needed to come to the clinic right then. She first told me them she was real busy but they told her she couldn't miss this. So she came. Austin was in a room playing on a slide. She came in and was shocked to see him in his tux. We then gave her roses with a teddy bear. She is so good to us and Austin truly loves her. He always feels comfortable with her. Then we headed over to CTRC. Where he once again had everyone talking about him and taking his pictures. It was so nice to see even the other patients smile. Austin can light up a room. He had a great day. Radiation went well and we are just moving along. We go back again tomorrow to CTRC at 10:15 am for 10:30 radiation. Hope every one has a great day like Austin did!!
