Getting ready.....

Sorry for the delay in posts. Radiation is going well. Austin's eye has healed very well. Today is the last day of radiation for his leg and arm. We still have to do total body radiation next week (the day before transplant). After radiation today we will check in for our stay at Methodist Children's Hospital. Austin should start chemo tomorrow. We had a good weekend and last night he got to go to dinner in a restaurant for one last time before our long haul. He enjoyed every minute of it. So did I. I couldn't tell you when the last time I ate at restaurant. Right now I am finishing all of our packing and checking my list to see if we have everything and then we will head out to CTRC for radiation. Austin is getting dressed and is ready to get the show on the road. Yesterday the anesthesiologist was an hour late. We needed to go to the clinic to get Austin's mouth swabbed so they let us go ahead and leave CTRC and go to Methodist and come back. When we got back the doctor was there. Perfect timing. I will post some pictures later and let you know things after we settle in.
