Feeling Good.... PLAYTIME!!!

Austin had a good day for the most part. Lastnight was a bit rough as there were some issues with one of his IV lines going into his port. Once they fixed that, Austin slept pretty well. He had the first round of MIBG scans today, he will have more tomorrow. He enjoyed playing with everyone visiting today and his color is great. His hemoglobin is 16, the highest ever so he had rosy red cheeks for once!! Overall, Dr. Patel said he is handling the treatment well. He will most likely have the second cycle of chemo on an outpatient basis as long as he continues to tolerate the chemo treatment well.
